The Blessing Of Giving

Malachi 3:6-12

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may he meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it

I was introduced to this passage by my pastor when I was 20 years of age. A light came on and I have never been the same This passage literally changed my life to the point that I am scared to death not just by me even thinking of not fulfilling this passage, but I’m frightened for you. I see so many blessings that God has in store for you.

Maybe you’re trying to use other means to make it and survive. It’s bad when saints resort to things of the world to try to make ends meet such as scheming and conniving, sitting in front of a slot machine, resorting to begging and gambling, cheating and lying. God says you are a royal priesthood. You are a chosen generation. You are a peculiar people. Hear me when I tell you saints of God that when you abide by his word and make sure that you are in his will, then God will bless your life.

I have discovered in life that there are some things you will need that money can not buy. There are some things in life that you may want to accomplish that you won’t be able to use your connections to get. Only God can open certain doors. Only God can do certain things for us. Now this is not a reflection on my part, but it will be if I fail to warn you. The Bible states, “I am the Lord.” This is not a scheme that preachers have cooked up and schemed up to try to talk you out of something that you think is yours This is the Lord speaking. And when the Lord says something, it is settled whether you believe it or not; it is still true. He says “I am the Lord, I change not.” God needs us to know that He doesn’t change. Bring the tithes into the storehouse.
