All God’s precepts

Key scripture- “Therefore I consider all your precepts to be right; I hate every false way”(Psalm 119: 128).
A precept is “a commandment given as a rule of action or conduct.”
Think for a minute about what this verse says: All God’s precepts, His commandments about everything, absolutely all of them are right.
…
If this statement was said about anyone but God it would be ludicrous. Who can always be right about everything?
But the truth of this statement is what draws us to God’s Word. This belief is why we stake our lives on the truths contained in the Bible. This is why we memorize it and study it and pray through it.
God is always right about everything.
The more you use your Bible, the more you will recognize the truth of this statement. The more you apply the principles of Scripture to your everyday life, the more you will experience the wisdom of God expressed in his Word, and the more you will come to hate the false messages pressed into our minds by the secular media.
The world’s wisdom tells us to focus on the external things in life, but God reminds us that it is the unseen things that last forever. The world’s wisdom tells us to live for ourselves. God’s wisdom tells us to live for God. The world tells us to do whatever it takes to get ahead. The Bible tells us that when we live to please God, He blesses our lives. That is why Jesus said, in response to this question, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:36-40).
So who are you going to believe and follow?
Pray this – Our Precious Heavenly Father, I believe You. I know that You are faithful and You cannot and You will not lie. You will always come through on Your promises. I don’t know what Your time frame is or how You are going to do it, but You will do it. I study Your Word because I want to live by Your Wisdom. I cry out to You for insight and I ask for understanding. I will search for them in Your Word like I would search for a lost treasure because they are more precious than gold. I know that Your Word will show me what it means to fear the Lord and I will gain the knowledge of God, because You grant wisdom and from Your mouth come knowledge and understanding. I will understand and know what is right, just and fair, and I will find the right way to go. All the wise choices that I make based on Your Word will watch over me and understanding will keep me safe. (Proverbs 2:2-11). In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
