Blessed Or Cursed

Malachi 3:10

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

I’ll pour. You get more from a pour than you do from a measure.

Something measured is limited, but when you pour, it falls everywhere. That means your blessing will fall on your children. Your blessing will fall on your dog. Your blessing will fall on your mother and your grandmother. God says He will pour you out blessings that you don’t have room enough to receive. This is a wonderful verse. Every child of God is living in one or the other verses. You’re living in verse nine which says you are cursed for robbing God or you are living in the blessing of verse eleven. Which verse do you want to camp in?

Verse nine says you are cursed with a curse and verse eleven shows you how to have problems blocked from you. you’ve got some enemies that try to get next to you, but God will shield you from your enemies. you’ve got some sickness that is trying to invade your body, but God will shield you from your sicknesses. you’ve got a mind that wants to go bad, but God will regulate your mind. He said, “I will rebuke the devourer for your sake and your fruit will not fall before its season.” Namely, my blessing wont’ go by me when it gets to me; it will camp right at my door.

I’m blessed and I know I am. I’m glad I’m blessed. I’m glad God keeps on opening doors. I’m glad he continues making ways for me. I might spend my house note; I might spend my car note; I might spend my clothes bill; or I might spend my grocery bill. But there’s one check I’m not going to bother and that’s the one I owe God. I don’t care who you are, you aren’t getting that one. It belongs to the Lord. I owe the Lord too much to hold back on Him.
