Bow Down

Bow Down
Daniel 6:10
He kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God.
When a farmer needed to carry stuff from one part of the desert to the other, he used a camel. The camel was So tall that he had to bow down whenever his master would get ready to put a load on him. The master put a load on and the camel would carry that load half of the day. Around noon the camel would begin wobbling and perspiring. The load would start to shift. And the master would get in front of him and tell him to bow down. He would get next to him and straighten up the load. That night the camel couldn’t rest with a heavy load so the master would get in front of him and make him bow down so he could take off the load. And the camel would rest well all night long.
Our master has a load for us to carry. He warns us before we leave home in the morning to bow down. You say I don’t know why God has put so much on me. It’s just a load. When the Lord puts it on you, He’s walking right under you helping you carry your load. The old folks said, He won’t put no more on you than what you can bear.” When you are going through the day you’ve got to dodge lies and being falsely accused. You’ve got to dodge doors being closed in your face. Your load can start to shift on you. Around noon you ought to bow down and let the Master straighten up your load. And you get up and go the rest of the day carrying your load.
But at night you can’t sleep with a heavy load. You are wondering where your children are. That’s a heavy load. Wondering what’s going on with your spouse. Wondering what’s going to happen on your job tomorrow. Wondering what the doctor will say That is a heavy load. But instead of trying to sleep with it, bow down, because your Master will take that load off and you can rest without worrying about a thing because God will lift your heavy load.
