But how is this to be? How is the world to be brought back? How is it to be restored? We answer, the reason why there was this original harmony between earth and heaven was because there was love between them twain, and our great reason for hoping that there shall be at last reestablished an undiscordant harmony between heaven and earth is simply this, that God hath already manifested His love toward us, and that in return, hearts touched by His grace do even now love Him; and when they shall be multiplied, and love reestablished, then shall harmony be complete.
