I Am Whatever

I Am Whatever
Revelation 1:8
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
I am. Whatever your need is, Jesus says I am that. For instance if you’re sick, you’ll hear him say I am a doctor. If you’re in a storm, you’ll hear him say I am shelter. If you don’t know you way, he’ll tell you I am the way. If you’re dead, he says I am the resurrection and the life. If you’re in the dark, I am the light of the world. If you’re lost, I am the good shepherd. Whatever my needs are, he said I am that. He said I am Alpha and Omega—He is omniscient. In other words, he is an all knowing God. Isn’t it amazing how Jesus knew so much, yet he spent so little time in school? His education and mind did not come from man. More books have been written about Jesus than any other one person I know of. Libraries are built for the sole purpose of studying about Jesus.
Jesus is all knowing. I like that because I’m serving a God that’s not ignorant. He cannot be deceived. You can deceive me, but not him. He knows me from the inside out and from the outside in. He knows my name; my number; my need, and my nationality. He is an all knowing God. You can’t dispute him; because nobody has the knowledge that God possesses.
Notice the way Jesus handled the devil when he went up on the mountain and was transfigured and when he was tempted in the wilderness by the devil. I wondered why Jesus didn’t just dialogue with the devil and confuse his mind. But Jesus dealt with the devil the way we have to deal with him when he tempts us. Jesus was my example. By him saying, I am Alpha and Omega, He is saying I cannot be deceived, disputed, or discredited because anything you bring up, I can handle; I have all knowledge.
I AM encompasses everything we can ever imagine.
