Impossible To Repeat

2 Corinthians 12:4

He was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

What Paul saw was so exciting that he wanted to tell other folk. There may come a time in your life when things happen that you can’t tell it yet. Too many of us like to tell about our experiences with God too quickly, but sometimes you need to hold it for a while. You must discern with whom you can share because when you share with some folk, you do more harm than good. They will not believe your story because it hasn’t happened to them. When a person has not experienced a real move of God, it is difficult to get it over to them that God is real. You might be shocked to know how many folk laugh at you when you shout because they have never shouted themselves and they don’t know the joy in shouting in the name of the Lord. They think it’s a plaything when they see you running up and down the aisle. They don’t know you’re rejoicing because you’ve got legs to run with. They don’t know that you were at the point of death or that God snatched you out of the jaws of hell and this is rejoicing time.

Also, not many folk have come back from heaven to tell you about it. Paul did have some fellows behind him that had experienced a lot of things, but they had never been caught up into the third heaven. Abraham left home with a promise for a land he knew not of but he wasn’t caught up in the third heaven. Moses was a great emancipator who led 600, 000 Israelites out of Egypt to the gates of the promised land, but he never experienced getting caught up into third heaven. Isaiah was a man of vision who could see 700 years ahead and said, “Unto us a child is born, and his name shall be called wonderful, counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace, but he never got caught up into the third heaven. Paul had to hold his experience inside.
