No matter what, The Lord never leaves you.

Key scripture – “Thus says The Lord, ‘Fear not, for I have redeemed you: I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am The Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your savior”. (Isaiah 43:1-3).
No matter what you are going through, The Lord never leaves you. When you are going through a fiery trial and you feel like you are about to go under and drown under the weight of your circumstances and problems, He is holding you up with His righteous right hand so that you do not go under. “When you pass through the waters I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.” (V. 2).
When your problems are heating up and it looks like through your eyes that you will be consumed by the problem like a forest fire consumes trees when it is burning out of control, don’t worry, you will go through the fire, and you will not be burned nor will you smell like smoke when you come out on the other side of your problem, because God promised that you would not be harmed. “When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.” (V. 2).
Just keep walking by faith and not by sight. It does not matter how big the storm is around you and how bad it looks, that is your sight, what you see. Instead of focusing on the storm (what you see) let your faith take over and remember and believe what God has said that He would do for you (His promises). Focus on all His promises that are in the Bible. Remember that we serve a BIG GOD! “‘Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,’ says the LORD, who has compassion on you.” (Isaiah 54:10, NIV).
Remember, He can do anything, nothing is impossible with God, He created everything, and all His promises are true. “For nothing will be impossible with God.” (Luke 1:37).
God will always do what He says He will do. “God is not a man, so he does not lie, he is not human so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Or has he ever promised and not carried it through?” (Numbers 23:19 NLT).
That is how you get the freedom in your life, that Jesus promised you, from sin, worry, anxiety, anger, disappointment, discouragement, doubts, and fear; is when you walk by faith and not by sight. “If God is for us, who can ever be against us.” (Romans 8:31). “Do not be afraid for I am with you.” (Isaiah 44:5).
As you go through the trial, I want you to remember what The Lord is saying about you, His child, in Psalm 91: 14-16.
As you read the paragraph below I want you to read it out loud and say your name in the place of “he” and “him”.
“Because he loves me, says The Lord, I will rescue him; I will protect him because he acknowledges my name. He will call on me and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” (Psalm 91:14-16).
How good is that!!
Can you picture The Lord tenderly saying that about you? Go back and read Psalm 91:14-16 again and picture Him cupping your face in His hands, and Him looking into your eyes, and saying it just to you.
Pray this – Our Precious Father, I thank You from the bottom of my heart that You will never leave me or forsake me. No one can snatch me from Your hand. You have told us, “From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done. “(Isaiah 43:13). Absolutely nothing, I mean nothing, can separate me from my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I know when I cry out You hear me and You will deliver me from all my troubles. (Psalm 34:17). I will wait patiently on You. I will be strong and take heart and wait for You. (Psalm 27:14). Forgive me for the times that I have panicked and run ahead of You. Fill me with Your Spirit so that I do not fret, but instead help me Holy Spirit to stay calm, and have courage and strength, while I rest in God’s promises while I wait for Him. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
