Problems Produce Perfection
Romans 8:30
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Whom he did predestinate, them he also called and then he justified. Justification means just as if it never happened.
So how am I justified? God looks at me in my sinful state; however, He is in his holy state. By rights, I’m not supposed to get in the presence of a holy god. To tell you the truth, I’m a candidate for death. Here’s what the Lord does. He comes with his righteousness and because I have faith in him, He takes my faith for righteousness and He takes my sin and then gives me His righteousness. There’s no need of me standing around bragging about how holy I am because I didn’t deserve it. I can’t go around and look at you under eyed because of how holy I am and how good I’m living. What I have on is borrowed from a holy God. So that means that what I need to do is thank him for letting me have what He has.
Whom the Lord justified, He also glorified. In other words when He justifies me, He still isn’t through. He still has some more stuff to do in my life. He keeps on breaking me. He keeps carrying me through. He keeps on allowing stuff to happen to me. When trouble comes, I’ll steal away somewhere and have a conversation with the Lord.
You can’t get strong if you don’t talk to him. If the Lord has to whip you to talk to you, He will do it. If He has to take your toys away to talk to you, He’ll do it. If you are going through some hard times right now, it is because God isn’t through with you. You aren’t talking to Him right. All you’re doing is begging God to get you out your trouble. What I have discovered is that you should not waste your troubles or your tribulations. If you’re in tribulations and trials, thank God for it. God is using those things to bring you to a higher place.
