Prosperity Of A Saint

Prosperity Of A Saint

Psalms 1:3

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

He brings forth fruit in his season. A saints prosperity is that he brings forth fruit. If momma and daddy know how to handle a crisis, when storms come they will sit down and say, “This too will pass.” When your child sees you calm and handling the storm, they will sit down and do the same when they have a storm. They won’t worry. They will be able to sleep and get rest. However, if momma walks the floor when trouble comes and says, “I don’t know how I’m going to make it.” the little boy will be right behind her walking the floor when his trouble comes.

A saint’s prosperity is that he shall bring forth fruit in his season. He’s planted. He’s not there just because a wind blew him and sent him out. He’s not there just by chance. A saint says, “The reason I’m where I am is because God planted me here.” When the Lord plants you, can’t nobody but the Lord move you. You see, sometimes we let other folk make us nervous about our position and about what we have and we start thinking they will take it from us. But if God plants you, can’t nobody get what you’ve got, because what you have is tailor made to fit you. My blessing won’t fit you and your blessings won’t fit me. A well planted tree brings forth fruit, weathers the storm, and prospers.

Whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Whatsoever. You have heard it said of a person, “Looks like everything he touches turns to gold. Whatsoever he does. In other words, he prospers in his work life. He prospers in his wedded life. He prospers in his war life. He prospers in his word life. It seems as if God has put his hands on everything that person has set out to do. I’m glad that I don’t have to worry because (1) I’ve been planted here (2) I’m walking in the right path and (3) My pleasure is in the word of God.
