Sanctified, Then Sent

Sanctified, Then Sent
John 10:36
Say ye of him, whom the father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
This verse shows how sanctification is accomplished. Ye of him whom the father has sanctified and sent. Jesus was first sanctified, then sent. Now most people want to be sent first and then work on the sanctification part down the road. Too many people have been sent and are holding spots, but they have not been sanctified. It’s hard to deal with sent people that don’t have some sanctification. Now the Lord says you’ve got to first be sanctified. Only after sanctification are you required to be sent. How can I be sanctified? Do I need to have somebody lay hands on me? Do I need to go somewhere and tarry and wait on the sanctification to show?
John 17:17 says Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. We are sanctified through the Word. Be baptized with the Holy Ghost. Luke 3:16 says, Ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. Acts 1:5 says Ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost shortly. Acts 11:16 says, Ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 1 Corinthians 12:13 says, For by one spirit ye are baptized with the Holy Ghost. If God promises you something, you can depend on it.
John 3:6 speaks of the first birth, that which is born of the flesh. This verse goes on to say, that which is born of the spirit is spirit. If I’m born again, the spirit had to usher in that new birth. Since I’ve been born again, I’m sanctified. That means I have been set apart for a holy use. Because the job is not mine, I don’t have any business sanctifying myself. Since the job belong to God, He is the one who will do the sanctifying for me. I heard Jesus say in Luke 2:49, “Know ye not that I must be about my father’s business?” You see the business is not mine; it belongs to the Lord. I should tell you, it is a big business.
