Stop At The Storehouse

Malachi 3:9

Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse.

God allows you to rob Him because He could stop you, you know. Don’t ever think you’re getting away with any thing concerning God. And when you rob God, He charges you interest. If you fail to pay some bills, you are charged interest compounded daily. One hundred dollars becomes $500. God charges you compound interest when you fail to pay him on the due date. God will collect. Stuff happens that you don’t understand. Why did my car transmission go out? That’s your tithe money. My refrigerator broke. That’s your tithe money. My roof starts leaking. That’s tithe money. You can’t get away from God. I’d rather pay God and be blessed than to rob God and then be cursed.

Ye are cursed with a curse. That means the curse that cursed you is cursed. Consequently if you come to me for help and God has cursed you and I try to help a cursed person, God will whip me for trying to help you. When God starts whipping folk that won’t tithe, ain’t no need of you trying to bail them out. Ain’t no need of you trying to pay their mortgage for them or pay their utility bill. If you keep fooling around, God will whip you. You want to help these folk but there’s nothing you can do about it because God will do what he said he’s going do.

But then He said, “Bring.” In other words, he wants you to put forth an effort. He said, “Now don’t send in your tithe”. Some folk get so important they just send it. But God says, “Bring ye all the tithes.” Where? Into the storehouse, God’s house. There are some things that your money won’t buy for you. Your money might buy a good time, but your money can’t buy you happiness. Your money might buy you a mattress but it can’t buy you sleep. Your money might buy you a great big house, but it won’t buy you a home. You need the Lord to bring the blessing.
