Stop Worrying, Fretting, and Living in Fear
Key scripture – “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:8).
God offers comfort and healing. Whatever you are going through, know that God is with you. Remember God’s character and His power. Time and again God has proved He is able. Focus on God’s promises. Get in the Word and focus on what God has already done for you.
In Isaiah 55:11, God tells us, “So is my word that goes out from my mouth; it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”
You need to stop worrying, fretting, and living in fear and let God handle your crisis. Stop your futile struggles. Like David, the Lord will defeat your Goliath for you because the battle is the Lord’s. You need to proclaim what David said in 1Samuel 17:47, “All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that The Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.” Stand still and watch God defeat your Goliath and win the battle for you.
He wants you to stop doubting and trust Him to win the battle that is why He tells you in 2 Chronicles 20:17 “You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance The Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow and The Lord will be with you.”
Praise God for what He has done for you in the past, present, and what He will do for you in the future. Nahum 1:7 “The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him.”
Quit doubting God and start trusting him. He is right there with you. He will never ever leave you or forsake you. “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Pray this – Our Precious Heavenly Father, I want to thank you for always being there for me. You are my Redeemer and my Shepherd. You prepare a table in the presence of my enemy and anoint my head with oil and my cup over flows with joy and blessings. My enemies cannot harm me because you will never forsake or abandon me. I have nothing to fear because you are my Deliverer. I proclaim that my righteousness shall go forth and Your glory shall be my rear guard. I proclaim that Your mercy and loving kindness is chasing after me. I proclaim Your plans for me are for good not evil. I proclaim that I shall call and the Lord shall answer me and say, “Here I am.” I proclaim that the Lord will satisfy me in dry places and make my bones strong. I proclaim that I will be a well watered garden, like a spring whose waters don’t fail. I proclaim Jesus is the author of life. I proclaim by His name – by faith in His name – God will make Me strong. I proclaim all that Jesus has to do is to speak and a healing, quickening, strengthening power accompanies His Word. I proclaim that You will give me a joyful spirit. I proclaim that based on Your Word I am comforted with the peace and joy of Jesus Christ. I proclaim that You will bestow on me a crown of beauty instead of ashes, and a garment of praise. I proclaim that You will remove the spirit of doubt, discouragement and despair. I proclaim that I am an oak of righteousness. I proclaim that I will be strong in the Lord, a planting of the Lords, for the display of The Lords glory and splendor. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
