What is impossible?

Key scripture – “But he said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” (Luke 18:27).

Do you ever find yourself bogging down in your spiritual growth simply because the challenges and problems that are before you look absolutely impossible?

Do you realize that whatever thing or things you’re calling “impossibilities” in your life could be superimposed over what God says is “nothing” to Him? And when God says Nothing, He means Nothing!

Close your eyes for a moment. I want you to think about that problem, person or circumstances that seem impossible. That includes that uncrossable river, that mountain, any impossibility that you can think of. Is it your business? Or your school? Or your marriage? Your finances? Your health? How about healing strained relationships with people?

Will you ask the Lord today to handle that specific impossibility, and then leave it with Him in a faith that simply will not doubt? “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” (James 1:6-8).

Do that right now . . . please!

Remember, the things that are impossible with men are possible with God. “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” (Ephesians 3:20).

Nothing is impossible with God. He never panics or freaks out. He is running the universe with His feet up. He is never shocked by what happens nor does He ever say, “Wow, I never saw that coming.”

Remember what Jeremiah said: “Ah Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You.” (Jeremiah 32:17).

Pray this -My Precious Heavenly Father, I know in my head and my heart that nothing is impossible for You. “For nothing will be impossible with God.” (Luke 1:37). I am so sorry when I have doubted You and Your promises and I let panic, fear, and anxiety creep into my heart. I will not shrink back, cower or become weak because You go before me, You stand behind me, and You are always by my side. My strength is in Your name. You will deliver me because Your name is victory. Nothing formed against me shall stand. Jesus reigns forever and He is my Lord, Savior, and friend. Because of Jesus, I will crush the enemy under my feet along with anything that Satan throws at me. The enemy may come at me one way but it will flee before me seven ways. “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.” (Deuteronomy 28:7). In the Name of Jesus, the Messiah and Lord of All, I pray, Amen.
